David Grünberger, CPAHeads the financial reporting enforcement
Austrian Financial Market Authority

His team examines the financial reports of exchange listed groups for accounting errors. He also deals with prudential accounting issues of banks, aiming at the integration of IFRS and the CRR. He participates in the IFRS 9 working groups of ESMA, EBA, the European Central Bank and the European Systemic Risk Board and heads the national IFRS 9 implementation in the Austrian FMA. David published several books and over 70 journal articles on IFRS and credit risk valuation and lectures IFRS at two universities.

Cormac Butler
Cormac Butler Equity and Options Trader

Cormac Butler is currently an active equity and options trader  and a former consultant with Lombard Risk Systems London  and has also worked with KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He wrote a book called Mastering Value at Risk which dealt with basic modelling for Market risk and credit risk. Cormac also gave workshops on basic spread sheet designs  to illustrate the Black Scholes Merton model, variance covariance matrices and transposition matrices and basic models for PDs EAD,s LGDs etc.

Jean-Bernard Caen Policy Advisor PRNS

As a Policy Advisor within the consulting firm PRNS ‘parnass’  since 2014, Jean-Bernard has been working on assignments for Financial Institutions in the areas of risk-finance interactions such as IFRS 9, ALM, capital allocation, risk appetite and the economic assessment of risks. Before that, as Head of Economic Capital and Strategy for Dexia group for 12 years, he was in charge of Basel2 Pillar2 and Risk-Finance cooperation. In 1990, Jean-Bernard founded the Management Consulting firm Finance & Technology Management (FTM), which he ran for 12 years as the CEO. He is a member of PRMIA France Executive Committee, of AFGAP Management Board, and he teaches at the French National School of Economics and Statistics; he is also a senior lecturer and he published numerous articles.
