Overview

Sufficient knowledge of Basel (and its EU form) is essential for most bank staff and for banks' clients, such as company Finance Directors and Treasurers. The long process of finalising Basel III and the subsequent stage of translating its many different parts into the EU has made keeping up challenging but this course focuses on identifying where the rules have changed and on the areas where it has a significant impact. It also covers some other related but non-Basel financial regulations, including some accounting measures.
